KOKONOE FAN CLUB

GENERAL INFORMATION
Kokonoe Fan Club was founded June 1,1992. This fan club is for those who want to help support
Kokonoe Beya and its sumo wrestlers. From this point of view, we look forward to a membership
consisting of fans of Kokonoe Beya and sumo wrestling from all over Japan.

BENEFITS
Members receive the following benefits:
~New members are issued an orijinal membership card.
~Members receive acopy of the official "Banzuke" (sumo ranking chart) prior to each of the six
main "Basho" (tournaments).
~Copies of the Kokonoe Times Newsletter (twice a year).
~Members receive agift upon enrolling for the first time and each time they renew their annual
membership.
~Members can order an official Sumo calendar at the end of the year.
~Members can request tickets for the tournaments. However if the number of tickets are limited,
there will be a lottery to decide who receives tickets.
~Members can purchase original Kokonoe Beya goods only available through the Fan Club.
~Members can participate in the special events organized by the Fan Club.
~Members receive a birthday card from Kokonoe Oyakata (stablemaster).

MEMBERSHIP FEES & CONDITIONS
1.The enrollment fee is 3000 yen.
2.The annual membership fee is 10,000 yen (a total of 13,000 yen is paid when first joining the
club).
3.The enrollment and membership fees can be paid through a postal giro (application for transfer)
registered mail and bank remittances.
4.Fees that are post marked before and including the 25th of each month will be processed for
membership to begin the following month. Those received later will be processed at the end of the
next month.
5.The enrollment and membership fees are not refundable under any conditions.
6.Members are not permitted to lend or sell their membership cards and are required to return it
when requested.

REQUEST FROM THE FAN CLUB
New members are requested to submit a message to Kokonoe Oyakata and the Rikisi (wrestlers)
and a photo which will be printed in the newsletter. You may fax your message but please send
your photo by mail.
